STREET CREATURES QUIZ

What is Street Creatures?  This is the game I run on Twitter every Friday. I’ve
collected all the past quizzes here in one place so you can either relive them, or play
them for the first time.

How does it work?  Provided are four, seemingly unrelated clues, that are all
connected by a wild organism that can be found in a city. Look at the four clues,
do some research, and when you think you’ve figured it out, click on ‘Answer’
to reveal what connects the clues, and how they are connected.

Follow me on Twitter to play #StreetCreatures live every Friday at 9am PST.

Fox

Frank Baum:

The Road to Oz – Dorothy and company visit the town of Foxville where they meet King Dox, who is a fox.

Roald Dahl:

Fantastic Mr Fox – (This one is obvious) Mr Fox and his family battle with their farmer neighbors, Boggis, Bunce and Bean. It also happens to be a great movie.

Carlo Collodi:

The Adventures of Pinocchio – Pinocchio encounters an EVIL cat and a fox, who are con-men and attempt to murder him. (Didn’t see that in the Disney movie.)

Geoffrey Chaucer:

The Canterbury Tales: In ‘The Nun’s Priest’s Tale’, the rooster Chauntecleer, dreams about his own death at the hands – paws – of a fox, which ends up being true.
