As prevalent as jellies are in Puget Sound there are few resources for identifying them. This is a tall-top jelly, possibly a species that has been fairly recently described as Leuckartiara longicalcar. There is surprisingly very little information about this group of jellies. It was tricky to photograph since it was fairly small and transparent, but I was enamored with it and wanted to draw it.
